In the figure, PQR is a triangle. S is a point on QR such that PS is perpendicular to QR. T is the midpoint of PR. Given that angle QPR = 90°, PQ = 8 cm, PR = 6 cm and QR = 10 cm. (a) Calculate the length PS. (b) Show that triangle PQS is similar to triangle QPR and hence find the length QS. (c) A point U lies on PQ such that TU is parallel to QR. Find the length of TU. (d) Calculate the area of trapezium QRTU.
