Read the passage below and answer the question that follows. 'Youth unemployment in Nigeria has several roots. The education system still produces graduates trained for jobs that no longer exist, while the skills that employers actually need, such as data handling, welding or digital marketing, are rarely taught. The economy has not created jobs fast enough to absorb the hundreds of thousands who leave school each year, partly because unreliable electricity and poor roads make it expensive to run a factory. Many young people also refuse the jobs that are available in agriculture and the trades, regarding them as beneath a certificate holder. Where jobs do exist, they are frequently given to relatives and political contacts rather than to the best-qualified applicant. The results are visible everywhere: idle youths at street corners, a rise in internet fraud and armed robbery, mass emigration of the talented, and a generation whose frustration threatens social peace.'
