(ix) Rent paid: N96,000 (covering 15 months from 1 April 2023). (x) Salaries paid: N180,000. (xi) Electricity bills paid: N24,500. (xii) General expenses paid: N18,700. (xiii) Mr. Nwosu withdrew N120,000 for personal use. (xiv) A credit customer who owed N14,000 has been declared bankrupt; the debt is to be written off. (xv) At 31 March 2024, closing inventory was N175,000. Depreciation policy: - Delivery van: 20% per annum on cost, straight-line. - Shop fittings: 10% per annum on cost, straight-line.
