Why the answer is B, and why the others tempt you.
Total frequency = 2 + 5 + 6 + 4 + 3 = 20. The median is the average of the 10th and 11th values. Cumulative frequencies: score 1 → 2, score 2 → 7, score 3 → 13. Both the 10th and 11th values fall in the score 3 group, so the median is 3.
