In the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand, how many loaves of bread and fish were available before Jesus performed the miracle?

All four Gospel accounts record that the available food was five loaves of bread and two fish (Matthew 14:17, Mark 6:38, Luke 9:13, John 6:9). Jesus took these, blessed them, broke them, and distributed them to the crowd of about five thousand men, and twelve baskets of fragments were gathered afterwards.
