Commuters spend hours in traffic every day, losing productive time and suffering from stress. The environmental consequences of congestion are also significant, as vehicle emissions contribute to air pollution and climate change. Despite these challenges, African cities also present enormous opportunities. They are hubs of innovation, commerce, and cultural exchange.
